Civil services examination 2017 Notification released: Apply by March 17

The notification for civil services preliminary examination 2017 has been released by the Union Public Service Commission on its official website. The examination is scheduled to be conducted on June 18, 2017.

Candidates can register for UPSC civil services examination 2017 on the official website of UPSC before the last date March 17, 2017.

Candidates who are graduates in any stream and between 21 to 32 years of age are eligible to apply for the examination.

UPSC holds the civil services examination to select eligible candidates for filling 980 administrative vacancies in All-India Services and central civil services including IAS, IPS, IFS, IRS, and IRTS.

The selection process consists of two stages – (1) Preliminary examination which consist of objective type questions and (2) main examination which consist of written test and interview.

UPSC will release the e-admission certificates three weeks before the examination on its official website. Candidates and login on the website and download the e-admission certificate for the examination.
