Only 1.6 lakh students sit for CBSE AIPMT 2008

As against about two lakh candidates in 2007, only about 1.6 lakh students appeared for the CBSE AIPMT 2008 , conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), on Sunday.

AIPMT 2008 for MBBS, BDS Admissions on April 6

CBSE AIPMT 2008 (All India Pre medical/ Dental Entrance Examination) for 15% Seats in Medical and Dental Colleges in India Notification is out. FOrms will be available at CBSE Regional Offices / Canara Bank from Oct. 16, 2007 Check out AIPMT detailed notification – CBSE AIPMT 2008 Entrance Test & Admission Notice

The entrance test, conducted for 15 per cent of the merit positions in medical and dental colleges all over the country, involves a preliminary and final examination.

The preliminary test will be held on April 6, 2008 while the final exam is scheduled for May 11, 2008.

The last date for submission of application is November 26. The AIPMT 2008 preliminary exam will comprise of 200 objective type questions from Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
