Punjab National Bank invites on-line applications for the post of Management Trainees in JMG Scale-I from Indian citizens who have taken the Common Written Examination for Probationary Officers/Management Trainees conducted by IBPS in 2011 and have a valid score card issued by IBPS and who meet the eligibility criteria

Graduate in any discipline with 60% marks or equivalent qualification from the university/Institute recognized by the Govt of India and working knowledge of MS
Office

SC/ST/PwD Graduate in any discipline with 55% marks or equivalent qualification from the university/Institute recognized by the Govt of India, and working knowledge of MS office

IBPS score (as per valid IBPS score card) as on opening date of on-line registration: IBPS score obtained in CWE for POs/MTs held during 2011

Bank of India Probationary Officer Recruitment 2012 Eligibility is 60% in Graduation

Banking aspirants are confused. there is no minimum marks eligibility in Common Written Exam for Probationary  officer Recruitment for 19 Public Sector Banks.

The Eligibility Conditions as mentioned in CWE Exam Notification is “A degree in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government.”

However  The Recent Bank of India 1800 Probationary Officer Recruitment Notice , The bank has specified that candidates with a minimum of 60 per cent in their graduation and a total weighted standard score of 130 in the common written examination conducted by Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) are eligible to apply.

Applicants are of the view that as IBPS is a common Written Exam for 19 Public Sector Banks, They should clearly specify Individual bank’s minimum Eligibility Conditions in terms of marks in Graduation. What have you to say on this… Use the Comments section Below

AIEEE 2012 Application process starts November 15, 2011

BSE has come out with the AIEEE 2012 Notification and Dates through their advertisement.

This year there is no provision of Offline application. People can apply online only.

Online Application process had started yesterday (Novemebr 15, 2011) and the Last date for applying is December 31, 2011
AIEEE goes Online –  Online exam for AIEEE was also conducted last year and over 5,000 students had taken the online test. This year more such centres have been made for Online Exams

AIEEE 2012 offline examination will be held on April 29, 2012 and AIEEE 2012 online examination will be conducted from May 7-25, 2012.

Supreme Court rejects Maharashtra’s plea on exemption from NEET-UG for MBBS Admissions

The Supreme Court today refused to entertain Maharashtra Govt.’s plea for exemption from the 2012-2013 National Common Entrance Test NEET  for Graduate and Postgraduate Courses of Medicine and suggested the state approach the High Court.

A bench of justices HL Dattu and CK Prasad also refrained from giving any direction to the high court.

“We don’t want to give any direction or make observations to the high court. We want the high court to act independently,” the bench told counsel Shekhar Naphade who sought permission to withdraw the application.

The state had moved the application seeking exemption from the CET on the ground that it posed difficulties for students on account of the change in syllabus.

Maharashtra contended the course prescribed by MCI and the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) is dissimilar to the syllabus taught in the state to Class 11th & 12th students,  reports DNA India

“As such, the new syllabus for the common entrance test would be difficult for them to cope up in such short period of time, gravely prejudicing their rights for being selected in any good medical college.

“Everyone knows the amount of stress for performing well in competitive exams is enormous on students. Therefore, any such sudden changes will be demoralising for the students and can cause severe depression and anxiety with unfortunate consequences,” the state had said.

FCI Recruitment 2012 notice out

Food Corporation of India has come out with a combined recruitment notice 2012 for

Combined Recruitment for Assistant Grade III in General, Depot, Technical and Account Cadres and Hindi Posts (AG-II and Typist) in the FCI, 2012

Applications from eligible candidates, both online and offline, will be received by the Staff Selection Commission and its Regional Offices. Candidates are advised to make sure that they are eligible in all respects before applying for the posts. Candidates are required to submit only one application irrespective of the number of posts for which option is exercised by them.

Public Sector undertakings (PSUs) using GATE 2012 scores for Engineer recruitment .

Recently Indianoil corpn. ltd (IOCL) and Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL)  are proposing to use the GATE 2012 scores and are doing away with their own recruitment written Exams.

This step has been taken takeing into consideration the resources being spent for conducting the written tests. Also as the Basic Syllabus for Recruitment Exams is exactly same as the GATE Exam, the authorities have take a wise decision to do away with their own exams. Indianoil had come out with their recruitment notification for 2012 in last week of September, BHEL had come out with their respective advertisement couple of days back

State Bank of India has advertised for recruitment of Probationary Officers. The detailed notification for SBI PO Recruitment 2011 can be seen on SuccessCDs Bank PO Exam Website

AGE – Not below 21 years and not above 30 years as on 01.05.2011 i.e candidates must have been born not earlier than 02.05.1981 and not later than 01.05.1990 (both days inclusive)

Phase- i : written examination — combined duration 3 hrs. (combined objective & descriptive type tests) — [max marks-250 (combined)]

 

The duration of objective type test will be 2 hours, max. Marks 200 and will consist of :

Test of english language (grammer, vocabulary, comprehension etc.); test of general awareness, marketing & computers; test of data analysis & interpretation; test of reasoning (high level) the duration of descriptive type test will be 1 hour, max.
