Delhi University FMS Entrance Test 2009 on Jan 25
FMS Admission Test is a MBA Entrance Exam conducted by the Faculty of Management Studies. The pattern of the exam includes Quantitative Aptitude, Data Interpretation, Analytical Reasoning, Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension; all these are covered in about 175 questions.

XAT 2009 (XLRI Admission Test) dates announced – XAT 2009 on january 4, 2009
Xavier Labour Relations Institute (XLRI), Jamshedpur has announced dates for its entrance exam XLRI Admission Test, popularly called XAT.
- XAT 2009 will be held on 4th January, 2009.
- XAT 2009 Prospectus available from 1st September, 2008 to 30th November, 2008.
- The online registration for XAT and XLRI will start from September 1, 2008
XLRI said that XAT aims at testing a candidate on skills such as Quantitative Aptitude, Verbal Ability, Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning.
XAT 2008 had three sections – `Verbal Ability and Logical Reasoning (VA)’, `Quantitative Ability and Data Interpretation (QA)’ and `Analytical Reasoning and Decision Making Ability (AR)’. It also had an essay topic which aspirants had to attempt.

The Executive MBA or EMBA is designed specifically to enhance the careers of working business professionals, managers and executives.
The EMBA is usually geared towards professionals who are looking to update the general management skills and prepare themselves for career advancement opportunities. It’s different from Part-time MBA, especially because here you get the benefit of both full time MBA curriculum and enriching work experience. Preference is mostly given to a person having 5-10 yrs experience rather than one working for 3-4 yrs. 34 New Management Institutes to use CAT 2008 Scores – Apart from seven IIMs, CAT 2008 will also decide fate of aspirants keep to join over hundred leading B-schools. According to CAT bulletin released on June 12, a total of 102 B-schools will be officially using the CAT 2008 scores.
Around 41 Institutes who earlier ware using CAT scores for their admission process have opted out this year.

Common Admission Test (CAT) 2008 Notification is out – CAT 2008 on November 16, 2008
CAT is the gateway to the cream of management institutes in India, the IIMs. CAT, or the Common Admission Test, is an aptitude test; it is the most popular test among prospective management students because it is accepted by the best institutes. IGNOU management entrance test (IGNOU OPENMAT)
Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has invited applications for its Open Management Aptitude Test (OPENMAT- XXIV) for admission to the following management programmes starting from January 2009 and July 2009.

•PG diploma in human resource management (PGDHRM)
