University Grants Commission is inviting applications for the award of Scholarships for the year 2008-09 under the scheme of PG Scholarships for Professional courses for SC/ ST candidates.
The scheme has been initiated keeping in view the social background of the candidates from the studies in Professional subjects like Engineering and Technology, Management, Pharmacy etc. in Indian Universities/ Institutions/ Colleges.
The objective of this scheme is to provide financial assistance to 1000 SC/ST candidates to purse postgraduate level studies in Professional subjects at recognised Indian Universities/ Institutions/ Colleges. >> UGC PG Scholarships 2008
