FCI Recruitment 2012 notice out

Food Corporation of India has come out with a combined recruitment notice 2012 for

Combined Recruitment for Assistant Grade III in General, Depot, Technical and Account Cadres and Hindi Posts (AG-II and Typist) in the FCI, 2012

Applications from eligible candidates, both online and offline, will be received by the Staff Selection Commission and its Regional Offices. Candidates are advised to make sure that they are eligible in all respects before applying for the posts. Candidates are required to submit only one application irrespective of the number of posts for which option is exercised by them.

UPSC CDS (I) 2012 Written Exam, Important Dates

The detailed Notification for CDS Exam 2012 has been published by UPSC .

The CDS Exam 2012 is scheduled for February 12, 2012

The vacancy details are Indian Military Academy, Dehradun 250 Vacancies, Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala 40 Vacancies, Air Force Academy, Hyderabad 32 Vacancies, Officers Training Academy, Chennai 175 Vacancies (men) and Officers Training Academy, Chennai 30 Vacancies for women.

The Online Applications can be filled upto 28th November, 2011 till 11.59 PM after which the link will be disabled.

Date of CDS Exam (I) 2012 Notification : 29.10.2011

Last date for receipt of form: 28.11.2011

Most probably for the last time , the All India Joint Entrance Exam for admission to the Indian Institute (s) of technology will be conducted on 8th April 2012.

The Online application  process for IIT JEE 2012 will start on October 31, 2011 and the last date for submitting the application forms is 10th December 2011

The Joint Entrance Exam (JEE 2012) will be applicable for admission to undergraduate courses at Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bhubaneswar, Bombay, Delhi, Gandhinagar, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Indore, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras, Mandi, Patna, Punjab, Rajasthan, Roorkee, IT-BHU Varanasi, ISM Dhanbad

Public Sector undertakings (PSUs) using GATE 2012 scores for Engineer recruitment .

Recently Indianoil corpn. ltd (IOCL) and Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL)  are proposing to use the GATE 2012 scores and are doing away with their own recruitment written Exams.

This step has been taken takeing into consideration the resources being spent for conducting the written tests. Also as the Basic Syllabus for Recruitment Exams is exactly same as the GATE Exam, the authorities have take a wise decision to do away with their own exams. Indianoil had come out with their recruitment notification for 2012 in last week of September, BHEL had come out with their respective advertisement couple of days back

Admissions in Indian Institutes of Technology will be done through a National Joint Entrance Examination popularly known as IIT JEE 2012. The Exam is scheduled for April 8, 2012 and the Application process is to start on October 31, 2011. This could be the last entrance exam which will be conducted exclusively for IITs as the government is proposing an All India Commomn Engineering Entrance Test from the year 2013
